Rules
General Rules
Your work must be Shinsou Hitoshi-centric. Given the entire event is about him.
There will be no NSFW content for the underage characters in BNHA.
There will be no student/teacher | minor/adult pairings for this Big Bang either.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated. All content must be the creator’s original work. For artists, if they are in need of stock images, please make sure they are open source and that you provide the proper credits and sources.
Participants may take up to three projects, in whatever combination they may choose. i.e., two projects as an artist and one as a writer, or two projects as a writer and one project as an artist, three projects as a writer, one project as a writer and one project as a beta, etc.
Alternate Universes/Crossovers are allowed as long as the focus is on Shinsou Hitoshi. AUs that are not allowed are: slavery AUs, master/servant, Omegaverse
All content must be completed and posted by the deadline.
Participants are asked not to discuss their projects outside of the Big Bang discord, and writers are asked to keep discussion of their concepts in the writers private channel until teams are announced. This is to keep your project a surprise and to keep artist claims fair! However, as we get closer to the deadline, you can post little snippets and blurbs!
Be kind and respectful. In this discord server, please pay attention to the blacklist/triggers and list them appropriately. This is a safe space for everyone.
Joining the discord server is a requirement to participate in the Big Bang. It will be the mod teams’ main source of communication, so please join once you’ve been given an invite.
Writers
Minimum is 5k! There is no maximum amount that you can write as long as you’re able to get it completed by the due date!
Writers may collaborate with each other; HOWEVER, you must sign up with your partner if you wish to collaborate on a fic.
Writers may enter a previously started WIP, but only if it has not been posted anywhere.
Artists
Artists must create at least one finished project for the event, but after that they may create as much as they wish!
Artists may collaborate with each other on a single piece for one author; however, they must sign up with their partner in the beginning. BUT if you and another artist are assigned to the same fic, and you decide to collaborate, please let us know ASAP.
Artists may use any medium that they like! illustrations, edits, graphics, fanmixes, photography, cosplay etc.! If you aren’t sure, don’t hesitate to ask!
Betas
Betas must beta at least one project for the event
Betas may sign up to work on a maximum of three projects, in any combination (i.e. two writing and one art, two art and one writing, etc.)
Pinch Hitters
Artist and writer pinch hitters will be called in as necessary!
Pinch hitters must be prepared to pinch hit for at least one project
Pinch hitters may sign up to pinch hit for a maximum of three projects, in any combination (i.e. two writing and one art, two art and one writing, etc.)
Pinch hitters may join the server immediately OR wait until they are called in. If you choose to join upon sign up, we will contact you through discord if you are called in. If you choose not to join the discord, we will contact you by email if you are called in.

What is the Shinsou Hitoshi Big Bang?
The Shinsou Hitoshi Big Bang is a collaborative long-term fandom event focused on Shinsou Hitoshi, a character in BNHA! Writers will create a brand new, never before posted story, and artists will choose a fic that they want to create accompanying art for! It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and improve your creative skills!
How does it work?
After the initial signups, writers will have an opportunity to work on their stories for a bit while artists eagerly wait to be paired up. At this time, we’d like to ask writers to keep their ideas to themselves during this time to keep the claims process completely blind for the artists.
Eventually, writers will be asked to submit a basic summary of their fic, which will be made available for the artists to peruse until a blind claim during which they will choose their top four fics that they want to work on.
After they send in their choices via email, the artists will be matched with an author that they will then collaborate with for the rest of the event until it’s time to post their hard work on their assigned posting date!
What counts as art?
As mentioned in rules, it can be anything! illustrations, edits, graphics, fanmixes, photography, cosplay etc.! If you still have concerns over if what you’re planning to create is allowed, don’t hesitate to drop an ask

During signups, there will be an option to be a beta. Teams will be made after Artist/Beta Claims.
Can I drop out if something happens?
Of course! I know how crazy life can get, so if you need to drop out of the event, please inform the mods and your partner(s)!
